In June, Finneas O’Connell, perhaps best known for his multiple Grammy-winning musical collaborations with his sister Billie Eilish, took the stage at Tribeca’s Spring Studios for an intimate talk with BAFTA-nominated composer Anthony Willis.
Willis’s work includes the scores for films ranging from Promising Young Woman and Saltburn to M3GAN.
But minutes before that meeting of the minds went down, we caught up with the two in a quiet room at the studio to discuss Willis’s approach to sitting down with a fellow artist and Finneas’ perspective on why his professional partnership with his sister, something we can relate to, works so well.
