In June, residents of Philadelphia became up in arms over delays in trash collection in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sanitation worker Terrill Haigler heard residents’ frustration as large black trash bags continued to pile up and line the city’s streets.
On a mission to shed some light into the duties of a sanitation worker, Terril created an Instagram account — @YaFavTrashman — to give people “an inside look at the daily habits of a trashman.”
